Doing Ethics and Reforming Health Law -- a Canadian Experience
Bioethics Quarterly. 1981 Summer; 3(2): 73-90.
A brief description of the Law Reform Commission of Canada and its health law project is followed by a general discussion of the challenges facing a national commission concerned with the reform of health policy and law. Drawing on his experience as coordinator of the Law Commission's Protection of Life Project, the author considers basic questions about the nature, composition, responsibilities, and mode of operation of such a commission.
