The Postcoital Pill and Intrauterine Device: Contraceptive or Abortifacient?

The use of the postcoital pill and the IUD might be illegal under British law if, as some groups contend, conception is defined as fertilization of the ovum. An amendment stipulating that conception includes implantation would erase the potential conflict between the law and current practice or dictionary definitions of conception. (KIE abstract)
