Ethics and Medical Humanities Education: The Cleveland Clinic Foundation
Kanoti, George A.
Journal of Clinical Ethics. 1990 Winter; 1(4): 294-297.
...The medical ethics and medical humanities education effort at CCF has expanded from individual encounters between the ethicist and staff physicians and house officers during clinical consultations to the weaving of ethics and medical humanities education into the fabric of graduate medical education. Recognition of the usefulness of medical ethics and medical humanities in the practice of medicine has led to the creative interaction between clinicians, medical educators, and ethicists. This interaction has helped to develop effective clinical models of medical ethics and medical humanities education in medical education, because medical ethics and medical humanities are regarded as an integral part of medicine.
