Abstract
This documentary relates the story of Henrietta Lacks. Mrs. Lacks had the misfortune to develop cervical cancer. The cells of her cancer were removed prior to surgery and were found to grow outside of the body as an immortal cell line - one that never died. These HeLa cells have been important in much medical research that has occured in the 20th and 21st Centuries. [need to write a more complete abstract]
