Abstract
This paper was submitted to the symposium held by the Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences (IOMS) during the period 24-25 November 1988 in Cairo on the ethical dimensions of health policy from an Islamic perspective. The paper describes the current deteriorating status of people?s health because of widespread bad life styles. Then the paper focuses on delineating the broad lines of an Islamic life style for the sake of better health promotion.
